We're a month away from Elden Ring's debut, possibly the biggest Souls-like FromSoftware release so this point, and the action-RPG is still top of folks their minds. It's still on Elden Ring Runes mine, even if I managed to get out of the Lands Between briefly to play Ghostwire: Tokyo. I love the characters and the world of Elden Ring, but I've never imagined them in Tekken 7. Well, that itch--if there ever was one -- has been scratched off by a moderator who thought it would be fun to see characters like Melina and Radahn play each other around in a different setting.
A modder called Ultraboy set out to change a variety of Tekken 7 characters with folks that you meet and fight in Elden Ring. It's dubbed "The The Ultimate Elden Ring Mod," and available through the site Tekken Mods, it swaps regular fighters such as Kunimitsu and Lidia by Malenia and Melina as well as Melina. The Starscourge Radahn is here too (as wrestling champion Marduk) as is the mysterious stead Torrent (replacing Kazumi's Tiger) along with four other Elden Ring characters.
Check out the video above. Did you have "Ranni the Witch fighting the shit out an Tarnished set of armors in the Raging Wolf armor set" on your bingo card? I sure as hell did not. Bandai Namco published both games which means you can stretch your imagination to say there are "lore motives" for buy Elden Ring Runes the two worlds that cross. It wouldn't be Tekken's first crossover, and it definitely isn't the first game's mod. However, I'm slightly distressed to think that Radahn is now kicking my side in as well Elden Ring and Tekken.
