Detachment from worldly treasures is very well explained by Lord Krishna to Arjuna in his teachings, where he states that true Yoga means balance between mind, body, and soul.

Jnana Yoga (The Path of Knowledge)

This specific path is meant for those who wish to achieve enlightenment through wisdom, self-exploration, and meditation.

Jnana Yoga seeks to facilitate the understanding of the true self (Atman) and the realization that the self is greater than the body and mind.
