mPokket Raises INR 500 Cr from BPEA Credit
mPokket, a digital lending platform, is reported to have raised debt capital worth INR 500 crore from the credit arm of Baring Private Equity Asia, BPEA Credit. The latest investment adds to the funding worth $2.24 million raised by the company in January 2020.
The company in a press release said that it will use the funds to meet the increasing credit demand from its 24 million registered customers and accelerate the development of products in insurance and career accelerator verticals.
