When Memories Meet Milestones
There are few things more powerful than the feeling of returning to a place that helped shape your life. For three friends from the 2016–2019 BBM(Now BBA) batch of CIMAGE College, Patna, their recent reunion was more than just a walk down memory lane — it was a celebration of transformation, personal and institutional.

Reuniting at the now state-of-the-art CIMAGE campus, they stood in awe of how far the college had come since their student days, while also reflecting on the key role it played in launching their careers. What unfolded during this reunion was a heartfelt reminder of how education, friendship, and the right platform at the right time can change lives.

From Boring Road to a Modern Campus: The Evolution of CIMAGE College
 Back when these three friends — Saddām Shamīm, Vipul, and a third friend — were students, CIMAGE operated from its Boring Road and Vivekananda branch campuses. They vividly remembered the classrooms, the narrow corridors, and the close-knit vibe of their college days.

But returning to the new CIMAGE Patna campus left them stunned in the best possible way.
 “It’s unbelievable to see the transformation,” shared Saddām, who is now working as a Territory Collection Manager with TVS in Patna. “From one or two rooms to this big, beautiful campus — it’s amazing!”

His friend Vipul, now a Regional Manager at a software company, nodded in agreement. “This place has changed drastically. AI tools, smart classrooms, advanced labs — these were things we only read about.”

They couldn’t help but laugh about how much more fun and learning they could’ve had if these modern facilities had existed back then. “We missed this AI stuff — but we’re glad today’s students are getting it,” one of them added with a smile.

“Our entire batch got placed,” said Vipul proudly. “That confidence boost at the beginning of your career — it’s priceless.”

• Top Recruiters: ICICI Bank, Wipro, TCS, and other reputed organizations visited the campus for recruitment drives.
• Hyderabad Placement Drive: Around 20 students — including these three friends — travelled to Hyderabad for a placement drive. One of the highlights of the event was a moving skit they performed on farmer suicide, which earned them the title “Team Bihar” and brought recognition to CIMAGE on a national stage.
• Friends in College, Colleagues in Life: In a rare stroke of fate, 10–11 friends from their batch not only got placed together but ended up working in the same office in Hyderabad — sharing desks, dreams, and deadlines.

The Foundation That Lasts a Lifetime
 While placements gave them their first break, what stayed with them even more were the essential soft skills they learned at CIMAGE.

“People underestimate the power of soft skills,” said the anonymous alumnus now working with ICICI Bank in Patna after a three-year stint in Hyderabad.

“CIMAGE taught us how to talk to customers, handle calls professionally, and communicate effectively. These are basics, but they make all the difference.”

Whether it’s communication skills, telephone etiquette, or customer service know-how, these tools became lifelong assets. In fact, one of them said with conviction that the skill-based training they received at CIMAGE was “better than doing an MBA somewhere else.”

This, he explained, was because CIMAGE went beyond the syllabus — teaching students how to think, act, and grow in real-world scenarios. “The benchmark for my career was set here,” he said. “And I’ve been building on it ever since.”

 What made this reunion truly special wasn’t just the career success stories or the infrastructure glow-up. It was the bond these three friends still shared.

From eating at street-side stalls on Boring Road to attending interviews in formal suits, from preparing skits on serious social issues to meeting again as established professionals — they have lived a journey that began at CIMAGE.

Their reunion reminded them of late-night group studies, laughter in corridors, and the anxiety of placement season. And most of all, it reminded them that no matter where life takes you, your roots always matter.
