This is a short simple wired connection the extender extends the network signals and the range coverage. The main router or the extender needs to have the IP Sharing feature that is (DHCP). The NAT functions are disabled by default when you are on the firewall, IP sharing, and NAT functions. Ensure the Ethernet cable RJ-45 that you are using to connect the network devices should not be much. Connect the router through the LAN port of the extender and router.
