Hey guys, let me tell you something funny today. So, basically I had planned to go to home depot but ended buying myself a pretty amazing skateboard. My skateboard was stolen a while ago and I needed to set one up which basically meant I needed the trucks, wheels; basically everything to set the skateboard up. I found myself at this skateboard shop, Gary Ginn and was having trouble deciding on a cruiser. So I decided to take out two different ones to test out in the streets by riding around for a little bit. And guys, I absolutely loved one of them with a surfboard type design with leather on top. I love how everything just worked and fit together so well. Not only was it quite good looking but also quite firm! It also had clear tape on top of it and basically that helps to prevent wheel bite which can be fatal otherwise.

The skateboard also had a way bigger tail, so you could actually do tricks on this in skate parks and is also pretty good to ride on tough pavements. I basically went with this skate design and shop because I was looking for a board to cruise, something different from the Popsicle shaped boards I had been riding in the past. It is completely worth riding this best skateboard for beginners as my rides on it have revealed and I just love how it rides so smoothly on a rough terrain. I also think it is perfect for a quick ride to the grocery store or even for cruising around the streets. Not only that, but hands down I think this is one of the best boards for pulling off some amazing skateboard tricks guys.

Now that I have talked about my experience of setting up a skateboard up, let us have a look at one of the basics which are the skateboard sizes. Some of the general sizes include wide, medium and small boards. So, starting off with the first board, it is a 8.25 inch skateboard. This one is very suitable for young and smaller sized guys. Also, but don't automatically assume that, because you're a certain shoe size, you should be a certain size board. I know a guy, that's 6 feet tall that skates 8.5  and I know people that are like this tall. This deck is very light weight and hence, it is easier to flip. So if you, if you want to do tricks 7.5, might be great for you, but the next one is my personal favorite. Before I move on to that, check out these skateboard brands as well.

Introducing the eight inch deck. I like to think of this, as when you play Mario Kart, and you pick Mario and get a standard thing. I think it is the perfect, standard size for a skateboard and one that is not too big or too small. It's also good for any terrain like if you're going to a skate park or the streets. Okay so let us talk about the big sized skateboards which are usually of 8.5 inches. As expected, these large skateboards are quite heavy. There grinds and slides feel better with this bigger sized board with the sluggish flip tricks. So I guess that is the worst point for me about these big sized skateboards, it becomes pretty hard to pull of your tricks. So, now I have pretty much covered the different sizes of the boards but don't forget one thing guys, it takes a while to get used to a new skateboard size. So take your time and ride it out! Cheers
