Seamless steel pipe is a type of long steel. It has no seams or welding joints so it is stronger in strength and able to resist high pressure as well as extremely low temperature. Seamless steel pipes are made by heating a solid piece of steel into a molten state and then the molten steel is squeezed through extrusion process to make it into seamless pipe. This results in a plain pipe with uniform wall thickness even at the larger sizes and it is significantly less likely to experience stress cracking.
